  • White's MXT RX signal

    HI,

This is the RX signal measured at the measuring junction.

Offset voltage is 8 mVpp.. A bit to much.. In comparison with XLT.

    In XLT is 3-5mVpp..

    Regards

Does anyone have a diagram or picture inside the Eclipse 950 coil?

What do you mean by "measuring junction"? Generally, coils are manufactured to have a certain maximum null level. There will be coil-to-coil variations, so if the maximum null is 10mV then 3-5mV is fine, and so is 8mV.

I ment test point TP16 - on PCB board.
However detector is unstable with the setting GAIN above 10.
I will try to decrease voltage and we will see how it will work.
        Regards.

It it unstable, or does it overload?

This is the only unstable in the air and the normal ground.

If it's not overloading, then the coil null is not an issue. Making a better null will not make it more stable.
