  • Blisstool external batterypack

Today I opened first time this detector and
    created that modification:

The Blisstool uses an internal lithium-ion pack
and if this is empty (after perhaps 45-90 hours)
you need to charge it again because there is no
    way to use a reserve-pack.

But it is simple to use the CHARGE connector
for such second battery or accu-pack.

Warning: You will lose the warranty if you remove
the epoxy that covers the both screws on the cover.

And if you forget to remove the wire-bridge while
using an external battery the li-ion pack could
draw too much charging-power within a very
short time and eventually even may explode.

So try this mod at home only if you know what
you are doing and if you have enough electronical
    experience!

Usually the internal accu-pack lasts long enough so
it works even after 1-2 weeks incl. 8 hours per day and
can recharged after this period but for special occasions
you may want or need the safety of a reserve-pack and
then this mod is for you!

Can you show some pictures of the circuit board?

Just curious to see what the inside looks like.

Are all the ICs in sockets?

        @ mel parker

You're lucky, made some pix before closing the cover.
The PCB really is an accurate and straight work.

        @ Qiaozhi

2 of the ICs are in sockets and the labels are scratched away.
Though not much difference to the pix we have seen already.
