    hello

    i search a supplier for concentric coil housing
    best dimension 12cm inner dia 25cm outer

    at moment i do them myself with vacuum forming
    but i can only handle 1,5mm abs maximum
    my vacuum cleaner is not strong enough
    results are ok but not professionel

    so offers or infos welcome

    Unless you can get a concentric coil housing from one of the Bulgarian manufacturers, your only other source seems to be Hayes Electronics ... and Bill Hayes seems to trying to wind down the business. Also, it can end up really expensive buying from the U.S. when you consider the shipping costs and import duty.

    Maybe there's a Chinese manufacturer - but again, you would probably need to order a huge number to keep the cost down.

    I once made some inquiries with a local injection moulding and vacuum forming company. The good news is "yes, they could do it", but the bad news is that you'd have to visit your bank manager for a loan. It was actually a lot less expensive to buy the coil shells from Bulgaria.

    I'll send you a PM with a possible Bulgarian contact who may be able to help (don't want to post it here).

        One thing i've been meaning to look into for general home manufacturing is the reprap or makerbot 3d printer. Reprap may be better because you can make it as big as you want and using thermoplastic extrusion it should be able to print just about anything you need
