    hello

i search the tesoro 4pin connectors from switchcraft
the plug (cable mount) is partnumber SL404FX
    and case mount is SL104M

where within europe i can get them to moderate prices
farnell has only the plug (cable mount) but 15 € one piece?

I looked for these as well, mouser have the plug for around 10euro each
I only found the chassis connector in the US, price + shipping + charges made them too expensive so I used cheaper connectors

Shame as it would have been nice to retain original connector on my coils

First thing I did after buying a Tesoro coil is to cut of the connector and solder a 5-pin DIN with a locking ring. They are much sturdier, cheap and easy to get. All of my electronics boxes have the opposite DIN 5-pin female mount jack.

        Hello Joop,

There are also 270 deg. versions from that connector, gives some more 'solder' space..

        Best regards.... from Elfstedenland

                Hi
Some of the whites machines use the 5 pin version of that plug ie Whites 1V which is the same as I use on my projects very good robust plug/socket with plenty of room to fit CXs on plus leads, im using pin 2 on my latest TGSL build so I can mount all TX/RX CXs on it instead of buggering the PCB up when doing experiments.
Also bought some 6 pin versions of that while they were on offer at farnells last year for fucture projects that require more pins.
                Regards

                  hello

thanks to all for answer so quick, at moment i have also some orignal plugs replaced
by the 5 pin microphone plugs with screw
                  was my first thought too

but every time i cut off an original plug from a coil i have a bad feeling

ok next step will be an adapter
make one from the plugs i cut off
with good solder points problem should be solved

                  regards bernd

                    Hi Bernte
The tesro plug you can dismantal like the plugs we are using, I normally desolder the plug and put it in a draw incase needed at a fucture date
