  • which is the right glue?

    hi tinker friends
I have read over the wound coils, and then built the wrapping machine built by monk. have a coil wound with wire of 0.7 wire with epoxy ... of course some more convolutions than directed. to handle them properly after drying. It all works great .... the second coil, however, it did not work. took 0.15 wire. the handle pulls the wire, but very quickly ..... so I think now about what can sometimes take instead of epoxy?
are white wood glue, silicone (plumbing material) paper glue or acrylic paint , an alternative to cover the wire? or someone knows something else, which could take time?

    regards, marc

Instead of epoxy - take epoxy.

Mean nothing water based or hydrophilic and nothing aggressive to wire enamel.

There are some other sort of dual component epoxy-like glues too. Ask at your local paints and varnishes store.
