Tri & Square

It's shape of wave.

could connect to antenna or Ground Probe.

Using a selector to change between waveforms.

Dear Reza Vir

Are you Going to change the 8038 frequency by changing the capacitors??:nerd: No Way!!

Timing Capacitor Only determine the frequency range!!;)

USE A POT TO CHANGE THE FREQUENCY!

take a look at this simple 8038 generator:
http://www.eleccircuit.com/wp-conten...ng-icl8038.jpg

The Basic characteristics of the circuit with a few components. By have VR1-potentiometer, R1-resistors and C1-capacitors are determined frequency output. Which has formula to calculate the frequency output as follows.

The Frequency output (f)
= 0.15/(VR1+R1)C1

Changing Frequency by turning the VR1 pot!

Another 8038 Generator:
http://www.circuitstoday.com/wp-cont...r-circuit1.jpg

The frequency of the output wave form can be adjusted using R7 .It must be a 100K Log POT.

Another One:
http://www.zen22142.zen.co.uk/Circui...ar/funcgen.gif

The IC contains an internal square wave oscillator, the frequency of which is controlled by timing capacitors C1 - C4 and the 10k potentiometer!

Stop copying Datasheet! I bet you don't understand what I told:|

Take a closer look at Fig 8 (Variable Audio Oscillator , 20 Hz to 20 Khz).

The Best way to change the frequency value is to use a pot.

The cap timer value on pin 10 only determine the Frequency Range!
(Like in Fig 8. the 0.0047uF and the RA=RB=4.7K ===== 20 Hz - 20 Khz oscillator)

I have brought all forms of use of the IC
