I don't know if you could really detect a material like tnt, but there are many devices that pass long distance measurements, temperature measurements, distance measurements, radiation measurements, emf measurements, measure speeds, but I constantly forget that the earth is thought to be flat because you haven't seen it round. :χαχαχα:
