I'm presently using a FG90 and like it. All my research is done in South America, a continent rich in gold, so I never had any interest in going elsewhere.
Whether it will work in the middle east, I honestly cannot answer it will do as good as it does in S.America, but it should.
There's one member here who used a FG80 in your location for a short time and did not have good results as he told. But in reality, as with any other tool, one needs practice with it and his results in the begining might not be as good as some seasoned and experienced user.
The FG90 has an extra switch to to be turned on in order to amplify the signal for pinpointing deeply buried objects.
If you are interested in one, maybe you should contact Mineoro to know if there's someone who bought this model in your area and contact him for a test.
