If someone studies the map you posted , and studies current south sea maps , they will hopefully find a match and the name of the island . And if no treasure has ever been found , the island certainly will not be famous , YET !!! Unless it is a tourist hot-spot ....I am looking at south sea maps now . Hopefully its the south sea islands , south of Japan !!! If we find out this Treasure has not been found we will call it "Estebans Treasure Island " ..The article says it was buried only at 8 feet , not very deep !!! And hopefully it is not Trinidad / Barbados south of Florida , Because many treasures have been found there already !!!!
