Method of movement pd

Good evening guys, in a long range detector is it better to work the machine fast right left or is it better to make slow movements?

If PD is electromagnetic , movement is medium ,
if PD or LRL is Ionic/Electrostatic type , in summer day slowly , but in winter and cool day
need fast movement ...

PD in electromagnetic , works with helps of Radio Wave or near Station wave ,
But working of Ionic receiver (if not is Mix rec. ) generally is with Nort - South
Earth waves and with very high GHZ frequency .
