        Hi Ban, Yes i received your email with attachment. I think it is different from the original from Andy Flind. The original uses TL062 in input followed by LF411, then going to CA3130 and 4066 which serve as tone generator. Please look in your email

              FGM - FluxGate Magnetometer

              This is a standard fluxgate magnetometer. I have build several of these and they don't detect gold, only magnetic measurements and not signal lines. I know, I've tried.

                  I didn't intent to make it sound like a magnetometer will pick up a discriminated signal line from a frequency generator. I said I read it would require a device 300 times more sensitive than a magnetometer. I don't know anything about mags, but I doubt it is possible to amp one up 300 times and still be able to discern anything.
