DEAR i think you have too much light entering to your image sensor and this test is great due to the sharp field you got. but you need to rework the angel of the LEDs so you have to get some rings it looks like you did not use an inner reduction ring?

YOU can use an old negative film to block the visible light so your camera can't see in normal light conditions it will see only the infrared the filters can get from the net the 940nm that allows the only infrared spectrum pass to the camera
