      Barking mad?

Now, barking mad implies a dog is involved. Suppose we strapped a pair of these real X-Ray goggles on a dog.... could he then see behind your thin veneer of clothes?

See the X-Ray goggles here: http://www.cirris.com/humor/april06-x-ray.html

Rumor has it these goggles are made using a secret process to produce a synthetic version of the same cream from the elusive "leaf potion".
These goggles are in print, they're on the internet.... That makes it true, don't it?
Blimey! It looks like it's been done!

      Best wishes,
      J_P

I think there may be a clue in the URL: humor.
Also, did you notice in the video that the plastic case becomes invisible but the plastic ends of the connecting bolts can still be seen?
And I bet there were even some people who wanted to buy this.

Since we're on the subject of barking mad ... have a look at this -> http://www.cirris.com/humor/cable_sniffers.html

          Hi,
the only thing I like in "Barking Mad" is Philippa Forrester funny girl...I remember some of her interviews in the "robot-wars" series.
Barking mad... is not my kind of tv shows... you know... dog psicology is for me too furstrating!

          Best regards,
          Max

            Hi Max,

Actually, the term "Barking Mad" is an English expression. It means that someone is crackers, daft, bonkers or balmy.
I've never watched the TV show, but the title is obviously a play on words.

Oh... sorry... I was thinking at the show...

              Now is everything clear.

              Kind regards,
              Max

Now, Yer onto something.... I wonder....

Do you suppose some of these dogs can be trained to sniff out defective searchcoils? Imagine... If a dog can sniff a bad cable, then why not sniff a searchcoil with an open or a short? How 'bout sniffing improper impedance matching? Or, too high capacitance?

Blimey... There's no end to the amazing feats that could be performed by dogs!

                Best wishes,
