What in tarnation is going on here? The man has registered eight

times being forced to use another name and erect another email each time,

since they were banned each time. It was okay for a few minutes

but then was blocked each time. The original name does not

appear on the members list. There is no original username.

Anyway the original username would have been under an ISP

email that no longer exists. So how could he obtain the activation

link? He had never posted here (accoiunt was years old) so couldn't
retrieve the password

This is basic forum information.


I have only two points to convey:

1. Clonkide has received PMs and forum posts advising him to

contact RT to get his new replacement but has not done this. He

has trashed a suspicious lookalike. Maybe RT wanted to have a

look at it to determine what was going on. The deal was for him to

wait for the new replacement and then send the booby. He did not

send his address as requested. Only way to post it is for there to

be an exchange unit waiting at other end and a viable address

given.

2. No-one is trying to abuse your forum. Each time the poster

tried to register he was blocked a few minutes later. Some posts

somehow crawled through a crack in the web. A minute later the

screen became a wax dummy. This happened countless times.

Sorry but I've got work to do. Don't like conveyig on behalf of

PS: Sam aka Theseus. How do you know CC's RT wasn't

sabotaged? And why would he trash it and not respond to PMs

etc? Chances are he hasn't trashed it but instead of getting a new

replacement he is going to show pictures that may or may not be

the work of some infidel. Probably because Carl has ill-advised

him. He has cited the possibility exists, hasn't he. Not a legal

show and tell and this is quotable testimony. Add to that the forum

blocking behavior and the answer is glaringly obvious.

"Multiplying the seven years the Rangertell site has been up by 1200 which is that monthly total we get (12x7x 1200) = 100,800.

Add to that the many hits that all webmasters purchase we could conceivably have another 140,000 if RT had bought as few as 20,000 a year.

Subtract a few thousand for visits from RT themselves as they edited etc.

Last month was a recession month.

We can safely conclude that there were years when the figure could have been much higher, easily explaining the 183,132 hits shown on the site. In fact it's an understatement. I have noticed on some pages the clock has been stopped and restarted e.g. 2004. This would explain the understatement.

The figure should be at least 240,000 extrapolating from the past month's lower one assumes, figures.

If you think it appears skewed towards the retired, you will probably find that's who often buys long range detectors. They are not as young and want something that is not going to give them earache or a bad back.

Unless you followed the site from 2002 you could not claim any inflation. Who would?

This is not make believe.

OK, since you don't want to discuss your LRLs, just who do you think this Sam is?
OK, let's assume you win whatever this war between you and Sam, will this help sell more of your LRLs?
Wouldn't it make more sense just to send out some of your LRLs for free to a few people who use standard detectors for them to evaluate?
I am sure you believe in your product but the trick(maybe not the best choice of a word or maybe it fits just right?) is to get others introduced to your product to see for themselves.
You have to have some testers of your product who are somewhat independent of yours to be able to relate to others just what your product has to offer.
OK....one other thing....I don't know who the hell Sam is but I am not Sam, neither am I related to him....unless he is a long lost cousin whom I have never met.

RT registered with his original name, then proceeded to register 3 more names*. This is either an effort to deceive people, or to abuse the forum, so I locked those subsequent accounts. RT can still freely post under his original account name.

I was reading the forum, anxiously waiting for Clondike Clad to get his replacement RangerTell Examiner and test it, when I read this:

MY RT UNIT is now history.
I think the RT people need to take a close look at some of the units
Because if the units are good. I think someone could be messing with some of the units putting bad parts in them to hurt the compony or the compony is scamming people.I just don't know at this time.

...If I posted what I found inside of my unit it was not pretty.
I wash my hands with it and now I will just hope to see if a working unit is made that I CAN MAKE WORK.

Now, I can understand someone gets mad and throws some junk in the trash, but after talking about how he will post his findings?
Clondike Clad has instantly changed from an indignant victim of an LRL scam to a person who is taking measures to hide what he found inside the Ranger Tell.

My BS alarms went of loud and clear when I read his posts, sounding reminiscent of hung making excuses why he cannot show the insides of a Ranger tell.
The question comes to mind,,, What did he see inside the Ranger Tell that changed his mind about posting for all to see?

Could it be there are small leprachauns inside the Ranger Tell who place a curse on the person who opens the enclosure, and forces the victim to do their bidding?
Is this what causes all those LRL proponent to refuse to photograph the insides of their LRL or test them in public?
Did a small leprechaun give Clondike Clad a death threat in the event that he showed any photos of the inside of the Ranger Tell?

Hung, it turns out that Mr. Blanes registered as "Rangertell" using a fictitious email account, which is why he could not do an email validation. Then, in an attempt to pretend to be other people, he proceeded to create numerous other accounts, which messed up his login cookies. So everything that happened was his own fault.

Is this how these LRLs work?
The scientific principle of hidden leprechauns causing the LRL to point to a crock of gold?

.... or is it a crock of something else?
