These are greek copies of famous LRL´s

I saw the films,and the man looks like a groundhog diging only to find BRONZE COIN !?

These copies are the ALONSO PD,the tube in the top as the ferrite inside,thats for sure !!!
Other models are the MINEORO DCH 85,and DC 2008 !!!

Also i can advance,that this person who release this products to the market its a forum member who participate in the RS projet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The coolest thing in those videos is the illuminated push button. Way cool.
Then I did a search and found it to be an anti vandal switch.
Humm... I will probably get one too for my upgraded PD, which I might show here soon.

About the videos, yes, he did a good job. But the devices apparently still pick other metals and do not classify only gold or possibly silver. He can do better.
Maybe featuring a selector or processor to detect other leagues if desired.

What I really did not understand at all is why he had to use that crap MD after perfectly locating the target with the LRLs. The crappy thing almost missed the coin. If it was an inch deeper the MD would have missed it for sure.

As I already have stated in the TNET forum, conventional toy MDs are for kids amusement. Or.. a bone comb for those who keep ignoring the brush and hair dryer...

Well,the person made a good job,he add a few extras in PD,the digital screen and the antenna,perfect design camuflage,but it still the same PD,have a look in «youtube, !!

The tube ontop of the device houses the batteries, not the ferrite.

Could be that he still employs a ferrite inside the main box? Yes, but if he has deeply studied the subject as it seems, I bet he does not need one at all, since we can spot IR leds inside the device and use them for carrier, reception and pinpointing.

Anyway, Alonso's PD aproach is an outdated concept and there are much better ways to build much more poweful and stable circuits with the aid of special components and microelectronics. Our friend did his homework and I congratulate him, altough improvements need to be made to filter out less valuable metals, unless he desires to detect them.
