If you having oscilloscope Please do this experiment . connect loop
Coil to probe , and near ferrite rod , power on gold gun . please
Saying what you will see .

Hello epitopios, sorry later I wrong, isnt 25 Ohms, is: 26.2 Ohms in red wires, the Ohms to the center, black wire to red cables is: 13.4, and 13.4 the same to the other side.

Hi Epitopios,

you have all data:

- lenght of ferite rods (38,5mm each)
- diameter of ferite rods: (13mm)
- number of turns (337 turns each)
- diameter of wire (0.2mm)

you do not need more data.

If you have different ferrite rods (say 10mm in diameter) you can use lenghts of about 40mm and about 350 turns of the same wire. It is not so important because basic tunning to your (transmitter) receiving frequency you can make by capacitor and only fine tunning ob directivity by precise coil moving and ferrite rods distance. You can forget to mH and Ohms.

I believe you, vicinity of strong transmitter, no internal bandpass filters, low antenna Q (mean work on harmonics too) and you can easy get AM LW or MW receiver.

You have to Boil 1/2 lb. Mexican Oregano in Distilled water for 45 minutes low heat, let the mix cool down strain out the oregano leftovers and insert the boards into liquid over night, Do not discard the liquid as you will need it to do the same with the antenna that way board and antenna are paired.
