My latest body artwork
More cancer surgery, this one was melanoma on my arm. They took a lymph node, still don’t have the biopsy results to know if it has spread or not. Also had another biopsy for possible melanoma on my other arm. I’m feeling okay without much pain. The doctor had to take more than originally thought so it was a big chunk had to squeeze the skin back together wasn’t too pretty but I’m still alive and wanting to get out hunting.

I don’t know if anyone wants to hear this but I got back the first set of biopsy results from my surgery and lymph node removal under my armpit. All came back clean so I am very thankful! Still waiting for biopsy results on my other arm probably won’t know until next week. So happy this came back good. I read with immunotherapy for metastasized melanoma average lifespan is three years and most people suffer nausea and other bad symptoms.
I don’t have any photos of the cancer but it was kinda grayish black. I first thought it might be dried blood but I tried to scrub it off without success. This tiny spot on my other arm I am hoping I can have it removed at my dermatologist’s office instead of general anesthetic at the hospital. It had the same look as the first one so I assume it was melanoma. If you find something in your skin don’t wait to have it examined. It can spread in six to twelve weeks. If you catch it soon enough it will not have progressed to the lower skin layers and it has much better chance of easy removal. Mine had already got to the lower skin layers and I had no option except surgery.

Oh, I sure dodged a bullet here. I looked up immunotherapy side effects and it is horrible! A whole page full of bad effects overwhelming fatigue, skin rashes, fever, nausea, just to name a few. It can get into your lungs and several
other organs. I just talked to a lady this morning said her friend had it for ten years!
im still not out of the woods yet. I won’t know until sometime probably next week the biopsy results. I’m sure thankful so far! I hope other people are thankful they don’t have it .

I’m not fully healed yet. The wound on my arm is still leaking a little bit and it will take several weeks before I can use it fully otherwise I risk it splitting open. So that means I can’t do any digging, could be for two more months. I’m still so very thankful the melanoma didn’t spread! I can still
practice out in my yard. I hooked up an amplifier to a locator and then run ground probes off it. You can use a cheap DDS frequency generator. This gives a more accurate pinpoint than an air antenna. Look at post # 82 in this link below

Besides the frequency generator and the ground probes there are just two resistors, one transistor, a battery, and an on/off switch. Very basic. You do have to be careful and not use too much duty cycle or the transistor will heat up and it could burn out. I kiss two AA batteries that is plenty of voltage. I’ve used 5 volts and that works good too but nine volts you get distortion.
yeah, I know, very sloppy construction, but it works.
