I think it is good to see that some ideas are not new at all. Also if we want to achieve something, first we must be awared of all truths and delusions about this subject.

I think there must be a way to get free energy from magnets. But first must void all the usuall "pitfalls" which previous explorers entraped in.
So material posted on this link can serve as good staring point to go further.
It is certain risk to explore this subject and talk to loud in public about it, cose man can easilly being rated as charlatan. I dont have such fears - i am already "an charlatan" !
So do not waste your time to mock me here , but better sit and think a bit more about this interesting subject.

At least seems he replaced the herbs... with hot melt glue... but seems effects are similar!

BTW free energy not... but eco , reliable and cheap energy seems more possible... just requires lot of investment in time, money and brain cells I think.... about like with the herbs stuff!
I read of people working at cold-fusion using scientific approach and an old patent... not I don't remember well but seems they are doing good...

So why not considering windmills ? I posted a link about them... they uses actually magnets... are alternators... AC generator... then you add a triphase bridge rectifier... et voilla ... you got from 700W to also 3KW of free electric energy... not bad I say!

I think it's time to make some wind-farm.... problem is that I have no space for windmills at my place....

Windmill are a pain, and there is plenty of wind here.
My father had one:It was so crazy when wind was strong! blades broken twice, very expensive ones in carbon.There was pieces stuck 20cm in the ground some 50meters away...(well, almost, but you got the idea)
So i took the generator an made a watermill with it.Used spoons for cups,it has been working for years now.
Doesn´t produce many amps, but 24hrs a day .
Of course you need water

Maybe try solar energy. This is free. Put as many solar panels as you want, then a large battery bank to save the power for night use. I have seen solar panel installations that collect all the power needed for a home including electric washer and dryer machine.
Also, use direct solar heat to heat air or water that is moved through a heat storage medium for recovery later when needed. Solar heated homes work that way. Also good for solar water heaters.

Another free energy is to collect used cooking oil from restaurants. This oil can be treated to use in diesel engines. But even without treating, you can burn it as fuel oil to heat air or water. In the USA, used cooking oil from restaurants is free. The restaurants need to pay money to have this oil disposed of, so they give it free to anyone who brings a tank to fill and take it away.

Free energy from a magnet? This does not sound promising. But maybe....
If you have a large coil attached to a satellite, and the satellite moves around the earth in an orbit where it crosses between the north and south poles of the earth, then you have built an "earth alternator". The frequency is equal to the complete cycle time of one orbit revolution of the satellite. So this is an extremely low frequency AC alternator. Of course, you will need a rectifier on the coil, and a way to store the charge collected.... Maybe a 5-pf capacitor could do this...?

Yes. Each windimill setup (horizontal or vertical) has advantages and disadvantages. Main disadvantage of horizontal design is weak response on strong wind attacks which usually ends like you described.

Solar energy is probably the best choice! Problem is those cells are very expensive. Need a little fortune to buy enough number of cells to cover average house consumption. Sun we do have enough, space also....

I want easy stuff. Dont want to bug myself to much with krafting...Besides...copper is also very expensive.

BWT... I was talking of simple windmills , vertical kind, made mostly of an epoxy disc with coils inside... then a rotating plate with magnets... connected with just 3 blades... made of wood or wood+epoxy stuff (to make them stronger): this configuration provide easy 0.7 - 0.8 KW in strong wind... with blades not that long.... BUT sure you need wind to make it work... so if no wind... better try with sun or other stuff.

Had you thoughts on geo-thermal energy ? Like geysers... You know... make a long drill in the soil... then reach some hot-spot underground used to heat-up water and get free steam... you can then convert into electric energy by a small turbine/generator system. Problem is that you may need very deep drilling in the soil... like happens with oil research... things are similar, also costs. But if you have e.g. natural hot-water source near you... you may think at it too, maybe need just 50-100 meters deep drilling to get the steam. The system is widely used in Iceland... and other places.... but you need some volcanic activity under your feet...

well... not my idea... someone else calculated that an elephant can fart in a day enough methane to fuel a mid sized car to run for about 40Km at cruise speed...

Really! It's so... cause one adult african elephant eat each day...about 1ton of grass... they are all the time in search of that grass... so the digestive process works over about 1ton of grass for each elephant every day!

That will produce about 2m^3 of methane (plus other hydrocarbons) every day ...extruded from the elephant... then... we know that a mid-sized car methane fueled needs about... 6m^3/100Km... thus 60l/km of methane required... that means 2000l gives about 33.333 Km

But... there's a round about effective production of other gases ...hydrocarbons that gives about 40Km with day production....

Remember: many alternative energy stuff is related to $hit... of cows, of chickens... etc etc all from farms.

Also... the methane produced that way and not employed for e.g. fuel/energy will simply go in the atmosphere increasing global-warming (methane is more dangerous than CO2 about that).

So I do suggest anyone buy a big elephant an feed it with plenty of grass... just have dubts on HOW the gas will be collected...
