I found a Bickel hand held detector

Hi guys I found this strange looking thing at a swap meet. I did some googling and found some references to Dr Bickel and his detectors on your forums. Do you think this could be one of his hand held models?

Yes, Algor is his model.
Look the attached photo of an Algor explorer.
As i remember j_player had meet Dr Bickel
Do you have a photo from inside the detector??
