I don´t think this will work: there is no AC voltage to be rectified, and the leak of the diodes will probably suck all the voltage build-up.
But i rmemeber on circuit that must work:a long wire grounded via a spark plug to the secundary of an an ignition coil.From the primary you take ac voltage .
The voltage raising ecentually produced a spark, wich produced ac HV transformed to AC Low voltage.
This should work anywhere but the problem is putting a long wire with enought height.
For Ivconic it could work, he says there is no wind twhere he lives so maybe hydrogen baloon ?.(Hydrogen is easy to produce
