    Hi.
    No ned for ferrite transformer.
    A simple transformer with iron core is OK.
    A 230v/ 12V-3A is ok.

      The 220v pole will be connected to bras earth, Geo? if we accept the input/output yield.

          You must change the tranformer....
          The 12V side must connected to TDA2030 and the 230V side to earth...

            Yes friend, this is the input/output transformer yield, only I did not prefer to write 12v/220v to not mix with a converter.
