Thanks, sheshko, but all I need is the chip out off of the processor board.

here is a primer on main part of vlf/ulf receiver....
For the end i sugest a simple 10.7 IF from some radio
.....for example u can use some based on CA3089 or even
      better on MC3357 or similar...3361,3371,3362,3359.....
even a simple transistor design would do a job.Further
analyze can be obtained, taking a part of signal from
later stage....(i am preparing some schematic on that).
For antena I would sugest a loopstick or even better
special design i am preparing and gonna post it soon.
You may experiment by winding 600-100 wind. of Cul 0.5mmm
on ferrite core, 30-45cm long and 3-6cm thick.
This is just an idea,I am very busy these days and off
.net so here is a little something just for a start.
      regards....
your detector mod = gun detector or pistol detector or vlf metal detector ????

            hi friends
Does anyone know what's part number of this varicap diode?
            best regards.

              Hello my friend
              This is a capacitance diode
Works in his suffering VHF and UHF
              You can use the same

                Hi dear friend
                thank you for responce.
but frequncy range of this receiver is on VLF to LF band (30khz to 300khz) and this not a HF receiver.

to capture vlf waves below 150 khz, I think you can also use a radio with coiled wire in a ferrite rod as an antenna:

or if you do not have that radio with tuning in vlf, you can made a vlf converter for a shortwave radio, I can capture
several meters away, the TX of a two box detector that works in 90 khz.

can you share the TX schematic of your two box , thanks .

I do not have the thor model transmitter schematic, I only have the explorer model that is similar but less powerful
