I certainly don't agree with one word he has to say (actually I mean "parrot") about LRL's but at least he is somewhat polite. For that I would grade him a "B".

I do have to laugh when I read about how the skep's claim the LRL's have a range of inches. I think they are confused with metal detectors and they cannot even begin comprehend the abilities of the human sensing system. All energy radiates to infinity. Of course their motto is "If you can't measure it, it does not exist." For that I would grade him and every other skeptic an "F-". Only because there is no lower grade.

As WM6 said, you should count yourself lucky that he (or a number of others) are not an administrator here. You would have been ejected months, or even years ago. Our tolerance for the nonsense you've posted here needs the patience of Job. Especially the pornographic jokes you posted recently, and which were very quickly removed. You even had the audacity to repost the same thing again after I had removed it. At the moment you're hanging on by a thread. Be warned.

Even though I don't always agree w/ Q that is his opinion. As for Ernie who doesn't produce or contribute anything, if he is dumping porno crap, I say remove him. Porn is destroying lots of people and marriages and is a very destructive element in our world.

I think Q is fine. If I had to agree with someone to have them as an associate I'd have zero friends and associates and no wife. We are all at various stages of understanding the universe. Harmony is the basic structure of the universe and it should be our modus operandi too in though word and deed !

I have tangled w/ lots of orthodox types wedded to the current physics and electronic paradigm and they have a valid point. At least most of their stuff works fairly well. I have degrees my self in science areas and I understand their mentality. That doesn't make them right 100%.

There is a huge amount of data and really good experimental evidence for alternative views. The reason most of the hardcore orthodox types won't accept it is their beliefs have become a religion with them.

If you want to put out a new science paradigm then it has to work. And the environment for it to work must be well defined.

So I vote to keep Q. If you don't agree w/ Q then ignore him.

Lets get on with developing a new science paradigm. I view some kind of LRL as a part of that.

It's not LRL experimentation that I'm against per se. As you've seen, I have supported others in their quest for an electronic LRL, even though I am hugely skeptical of any success.

The so-called LRLs that I have a problem with are the types with a swinging handle. These are clearly dowsing rods with some attached do-nothing electronics designed to fool the technically challenged. However, there are also some attempts at creating a non-swinging handle LRL which are also clearly bogus. One of these is the Bionic device, recently posted here by Hung. I think it is important to present the scientifically-based argument against these devices, especially as a number of people have lost huge sums of money in pursuit of a dream based on false claims. Everyone is, of course, entitled to their own opinion, and I would be the first to say that you need to make up your own mind, and not take the "facts" at face value. If this involves some expenditure in order to obtain your "LRL education", then so be it.

But (and this applies to Ernie in particular) do not post utter garbage about dowsing and other related activities (as if they are a proven fact) without expecting someone to make a comment. In particular, please try to post things that actually make sense, and do not read like the ravings of a madman. Remember ... if you make outrageous claims, then expect to be challenged.

Albeit with Qiaozhi i have different perceptions for lrl, he is quite cooperative when i asked for help in order to upload any video from my LRLs.

You just need to admit you can't understand anything about L-rods then you'll be making an accurate statement. Instead of making abusive comments against individuals or skeptics in general, it would make a welcome change for you guys to contribute some technical material or observations, rather than posting supposed facts based on blind faith or years of indoctrination.

I just saw this topic, otherwise i would react much more earlier (obvious proof that i don't pay much attention on LRL topics lately).
Qiaozhi is best possible choice for Administrator - so i vote NO!

Among many nice people here i think he is the most suitable to be Administrator.
Pretty calm, conversant, literate, polite, fair and democratic (sometimes bit more democratic than i can understand).
So i don't see what's a problem?
